Man killed by own car ‘was trying to stop thieves’

The 57-year-old died at the scene on Olympic Street in Beswick, Manchester. Police say he was struck by his own Land Rover on Saturday morning. One man, 35, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and a second man, 43, held for assisting an offender.
